You know that one-shade-too-light concealer you bought... one week ago? You tried it, you didn't like it, and you couldn't make it work? I have a fab trick for you! On days when you look more tired that you feel, dab a littl e bit of concealer (lighter than your skin tone, but only by a shade or two) under your eyes. This will decrease the effect of bags under your eyes, while getting your moneys worth of the product! Thanks for reading! Add any comments in the comments and remember to subscribe!

Fall facial product!
during a trip to a local drugstore i found Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick. with tax its cost me about $8. its comes in a little bottle with a rolling ball on the top. inside is an oily looking herbal smelling liquid. after cleansing your face you roll on the product and it is to remove blemishes. so far the product works really well... i was not paid to do this but i would suggest this product to many people!

Fall Nail Polish Favorites!
I love this video so much because it shows so many different brands with fabulous colors. After watching this I added OPI my private jet and road house blues. I also really like the China Glaze harmony and admire. I generally like beautybaby44's nail polish selection for fall. I'm going to look for some dupes and post them in the comments later. If you know any dupes please do so also!

For the lovely ladies reading this I have some suggestions for makeup!
For those lovely girls in junior high or middle school I suggest basic natural looks or the "no-makeup" makeup look. I reccomend to you simple eye shadows, brown eyeliners (something basic and not too harsh!), tinted moisturizer if ABSOLUTELY necessary, mascara, and some light lipgloss. Remember we are trying to enhance our natural features! :) Stay beautiful talk to you soon! :)

!!!!!Animal Testing Warning!!!!!
Thanks for visiting, if you like this blog please become a follower or participate in one of the many polls.
This is just a quick reminder to check your products for a "not tested on animals" what I mean is that many popular brands of makeup actually test their products on animals. This is cruel and sad for the little animals that are forced beyond their will to be tested on. Make sure you check your products before you buy them and put them back on the rack if you don't see some certification for no animal testing!

BB Decor/organization: White , cork, and black boards
Thanks for visiting! Please become a follower and participate in the polls:)
A great idea for any middle school or high school student is a white board, chalk board, or cork board. White/chalk boards are great for writing down things to remember like musical lessons or school assignments. Cork boards are an awesome idea for people who take lots of pictures they need to display or have important papers to turn in. You can just tack something up and then take it down.
You can get chalk board wall decals in many stores such as JC Penney, Claire's, etc. They usually come with chalk and an eraser and can be removed and replaced from wall to wall. I have one of these and I find it EXTREMELY useful!
More decor/organization tips to come!

September Wish List Update!
*I was no paid to do this*
I know it's not even September yet but I have already made a small dent in my September Wish List. You can go to my September Wish list here.
So far I have bought a pair of basic white shorts with some fringe on the edge. I also bought The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Cream Liner for blue eyes. I love both of these and I tested out the Gel liners when I got home and loved them! I recommend both of these!

BB Foliage decor idea
Some of you voted (in the top poll on the right side of the screen) and said you would like to see more decor ideas/tips. Here is something I love to have in my room- foliage! I have a fake Ficus Tree in my room that looks somewhat like this
My Ficus is about 6ft. tall and a little different shaped. It also features chinese lanterns and a yellow bird in a nest.
My Ficus is about 6ft. tall and a little different shaped. It also features chinese lanterns and a yellow bird in a nest. Another great idea on a smaller scale is a cactus garden. I went to a local farmers market and found people selling little cactus plants. These cactuses are not sharp or pointy and to some degree they look like the picture above. Mine are planted in dirt in a rectangular box. Many of the same types of plants shown above are in mine. The best part is the box mine are in, doesn't have holes so when you water them about once a week, no water spills through and no damage to my furniture.
I bought mine for $7, but you could easily go to some stores and find fake flowers in pots for just as much. Make sure to look around and see if you can find anything! If you have any creative foliage in your room- even a vase of flowers... tell me about it in the comments I would love to hear your decor ideas:)

Hi:) Thanks for visiting, this is another Bath and Body works haul. For the record I was not paid to do this, in fact I paid for all of this myself :D
I had a coupon for when you spend $10 you get any item from the signature collection free (item has to be under $12). In the store they had a great deal working: 3 minis for $10. Just on the minis I saved $6 I would have spent if I bought them separately. The minis are perfect because I don't just use one scent all the time, I like to switch it up.

Back to school beauty pouch
*I was not paid to do this*
I've designed for my personal needs, a beauty pouch for school. Usually I keep just a few mini hand sanitizers and lip glosses from Bath and Body works in a pencil bag, but I decided those 2 things weren't all I needed. What I had wasn't practical for school swimming, gym class, etc.
This is what I'm storing it in.
This is what my "Hershey's" pencil bag contains:
For makeup I have 1 sample mascara (samples sizes are best because they are compact), 1 sample eye shadow quad, and 1 mini brush/mirror set.
For my skin/lips I have 2 lip glosses (1 clear and 1 shimmery), 1 chap stick,
1 antibacterial hand lotion, and 1 mini hand sanitizer.
A pencil bag is the ideal size for this because you can fit a lot of essentials in it, it conserves space, and is handy when you need something fast. Thanks so much for reading and if you have any comments, suggestions, or +/- criticism I would love to hear it in the comments on this post! :)

exercises for back to school:)
I got these exercises from a blog www.beautysuperstar07.blogspot.com .
She suggests as a morning workout to do 20 of everything. Let me explain.
20 crunches, 20 push ups, 20 lunges, 20 jumping jacks.
For night time she suggests running.
She also tells that you should start walking first to get your heart rate up and to stretch to ensure you don't pull a muscle. I have to agree on both of those!
Running is a great fat burner that you can do alone or with a friend, just make sure you are hydrated when you go!

BB Mini Haul: Bath & Body Works
Hi there, if you haven't already became a follower of this page please do so on the right hand side of the screen. Thanks:)
Yesterday (Monday August, 15) I went to Bath & Body Works in my local mall. They had a great deal going for the mini products- 3 for $10. I bought the mini Paris Amour body mist, true blue mini blackberry purifying peel off face mask, and the true blue mini citrus exhilarating and exfoliating face scrub. Regularly the true blue minis I bought would have been $6 each- which in my opinion is too much for BBW. The Paris Amour body mist would have been $5, but since I did the 3 minis for $10 I saved $7 that I would've had to pay if I bought them separately.
I love the new scent Paris Amour. It's hard to describe so here is BBW's description online- "Indulge your senses with our exclusive Paris Amour, a dreamy blend of French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling pink champagne, inspired by a romantic stroll through the streets of Paris."
I tried the citrus face scrub and it left my face feeling very smooth and a little glossy. Afterwards I applied a moisturizer. I would definitely recommend all of these to anyone, they work amazingly!

Purple/ pink stripe sunset inspired eye makeup
As the very long title suggests this eye look is inspired by a pink/purple horizontal striped sunset. I don't have a picture of what I saw but this google photo is similar minus the orange:
So to start off with I used the Mary Kay Eyecicles Eye color in Vanilla. I took just a tiny tiny amount and applied it to my whole lid in a circular motion with my finger. This works great as a primer because it is waterproof and keeps the eye shadow on. Then I used the light pink in the top left of the Clinique eye shadow duo set in rosewine. This light pink I used in the corner of my eye with my eye defining brush by Mary Kay. Then I used a light purple color from Mary Kay (sorry I don't have the name) and used it in my crease with the Mary Kay eye crease brush. After that I used a dark purple also from Mary Kay and I put that in the outer corner of my eye (with the crease brush). I blended it all together with the Mary Kay eye blending brush. Then I used the Mary Kay angled eye brush with the dark purple from before and lined my eyes halfway on the top lid and fully on the bottom. To finish I applied a coat of mascara to my bottom and top lashes. Here is a finished picture.. the lighting washed it out a bit.
Sorry it's sideways and washed out. If you have any suggestions for more tutorials or reviews please comment below:)

Other blog + elf mini haul
Hi there, first of all I wanted you all to know that I have another blog called Nails Weekly www.nailsweekly.blogspot.com that displays a new nail art tutorial every saturday or sunday. Please check it out and become a follower of the site.
Sorry I have no pictures currently but I might add some later.
I went to a local grocery store that had a rack of different ELF products. ELF products are super cheap and have better quality than you would think. I bought the brightening eye liner in ash and the small eyeshadow palette in butternut. Butternut has 4 eyeshadows in them 2 are dark and shimmery and 2 are light and have sparkles. The way I look at it the 4 colors look sparkly champagne, sparkly tan, dark bronze, and dark brown. These work FABULOUS for a natural looking smokey eye! The ash eye liner is a little navy blue but mostly dark gray and also works great. The brightening eye palette says on the back of the packaging that it works best with the brightening eyeliner. I definitely recommend both of these products to anyone!

BB review: E.L.F. Eyeliner
Thanks for visiting/ reading:) If you like this blog please follow this site(you can do this to the right.)
*I was not paid by anyone to do this review*
Like the title says this review is about ELF eyeliner. In case you don't already know ELF stands for Eyes, Lips, Face. Their products sell starting from $1, and their quality is better than you would think for $1.
I have the eye brightening eyeliner pencil and the liquid eyeliner in the color coffee. Like real coffee this color is brown. I would compare the eyeliner to a more coffee shade and the liquid eyeliner more of a milk chocolate color. The pencil liner works pretty good when it is sharpened well. (Also the sharpener that came with my eyeliner didn't work at all so you should want to have another sharpener that works available.) The pencil eyeliner does not work well on the water line of your eye, but it does work pretty good on your bottom lash line.
The liquid eyeliner works great. Usually it produces even colored lines, but I can never get ANY liquid eyeliner to look the way I want it to all by itself so I use a Q-tip to remove excess. I am not fabulous at applying liquid to my upper lash line so I primarily use it on my bottom lash line.
Overall these products work really well and for $1 I suggest you buy them. Here is a picture of both and below that is a swatch of each color on my hand.

BB Review: NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliners
Hi everyone, thanks for visiting:)
(*I was not paid by anyone to do this review*)
Currently I have 5 of the NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliners. Here are the 4 different kinds I have: Jade, Disco ball, Hot Candy, and a royal blue color that I do not have the name for. Here is a picture of them
(*I was not paid by anyone to do this review*)
Currently I have 5 of the NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliners. Here are the 4 different kinds I have: Jade, Disco ball, Hot Candy, and a royal blue color that I do not have the name for. Here is a picture of them
Starting with Disco ball on the far left, this eyeliner goes with anything because it is silver and sparkles just like a disco ball. The next one in from the left, jade looks really great along with the other colors, I would be careful what you wear it with because of it's color. The next one, hot candy is probably the easiest to apply. The glitter is a little bit smaller, different looking, and is in a pinkish gel. The other eyeliners aren't as easy to apply, because they have more large glitter. The last one on the far right, I would mostly compare it to the jade color. They are almost identical, but in different colors.
I would recommend all of these for parties or nighttime looks. This is probably something you wouldn't wear to school or work. Overall I give this product a 7/10. When you master the art of putting them on, they look great. The glitter is hard to remove with just water(so you need makeup remover.) I definitely think that these can really complete a look, but be careful because too much may look too heavy. *Careful not to get it on your eyelashes because it is hard to get off and your mascara won't cover it well.
Here is a little swatch I did of each color on my hand. For a thicker line choose discoball, jade, or the royal blue color. If you desire a thinner line think more like the hot candy color. I was able to purchase these at www.ulta.com . I really love these eyeliners and I suggest buying one in a color you where a lot of.
I am new at this so if you have any suggestions, just leave a comment and I will for sure try to fix any problems:)

If you look at the video you will see that mine is pretty close but i don't have a black nail polish so i used a black sharpie instead. Enjoy:)

Green or purple nail art: flair
These are the colors I used for the green or purple flair. These colors are Icing: Gimme More, Sinful Colors: I miss you, Call you later, and HD Nails. I also used Kiss Nail Art Paint: White and Mary Kay: Base Coat/ Top Coat. (*I was not paid by any companies to do this, this is just a design I like to do in these polishes*)First I did some prep work with my nails by removing old nail polish, washing my nails thoroughly so that the nail polish won't come off as fast, filing them into the shape I wanted, and then I applying a base coat.
For the Green Flair nails I used 2 coats of HD Nails on all 5 of my left hand fingers. You would do the same for purple or any other colored nails. (I only did one hand for each color so you could see both.
I took Call you later and a toothpick and made little lines flaring out of the corner of my nail. (This is my thumb btw) To do this I took a dab of the polish on my toothpick and started in the right hand corner of my nail. I moved slowly to the top left hand side of my nail, I did not go all the way to the end of my nail. As you will see if you do this design, you will end up with less polish in the top corner of your nail than you did when you started in the bottom corner. This helps create the narrowing flair shape.
Below is the finished product of the flair design this is done on my right hand so it is a little sloppy. The green would look exactly the same but.. in green. To finish the thumb design I used my kiss white nail art paint and made a quick sweeping motion from inside the corner of my nail outwards to make white flair. Wait 5-10 minutes for the flair to dry, because it is probably not as thin as a regular coat of polish. When it is dry finish it off with a top coat and let that dry too.
The only reason I did this tutorial in purple and green is because those are the only 2 colors I have with nearly matching glitter polish. Of course this design can be done in any color. I don't have black and so I use the white as the flair and I suggest you use white for a brighter look.
Sorry that I could not post more pictures:( For whatever reason my cell phone won't let me send more pictures to my computer.

Awesome video for a quick updo!
This is one of summerdaisy01's videos on youtube. I watched this and then tried it and had great success. I suggest watching it a few times and practicing before doing this in school or public.. this is just because your result might end up crooked or lopsided the first few times (personal experience). Great video! please watch and comment if it works for you!
